All you need is the 'mother' and a little patience.

The process itself is very, very rewarding... and the product is an added bonus. You get premium malt vinegar... and you can 'tweak' the process over time to get it just the way you like it.

Malt Vinegar Mother (300 ml)

Discover the ancient art of brewing malt vinegar using the simple “Surface Method” and Deacon’s Tasmanian Malt Vinegar, which is barrel-aged and full of good live bacteria.

This natural process not only produces delicious and unique vinegar but also yields an endless supply, thanks to the mother of vinegar.

Makes 1.2 litres in approx. 4 weeks.

  • Deacons Tasmanian Malt Vinegar.

  • Malt “Mother of Vinegar” (A form of cellulose, yeast and bacteria).

 

Includes instructions and online support.
